I worked at Apple from July 2018 to May 2022, throughout my four years at Vanderbilt, including while studying abroad in Sydney.
Yes, I was a Genius. Literally. That was the position I worked my way up to. It took two tough promotions as a part-time employee and full-time student, and I became the youngest Genius in our market.
I repaired iPhones and Macs, which is probably why I still miss tinkering with tiny parts and screws. Building watches finally started scratching that itch again.
