Nicole is my wife. We got married in October 2026, and our wedding doubled as the launch of PicPledge, the photo-sharing app I built so our guests could share photos as the day happened.
Yes, I shipped software at my own wedding. In my defense, it worked.

The common thread: I like understanding how things work. If it has an inside, I’d like to see it.
- Video games
- Long-time gamer. My first real taste of building something was a Minecraft server at 13, so games get partial credit for my career.
- PC building
- First build in 2015. I still enjoy picking parts, routing cables, and figuring out why something won’t boot.
- Golf
- A sport that rewards patience and punishes overconfidence. Good practice for release planning.
- Watches
- Small machines that do one thing extremely well, built to last for decades. Hard not to respect that.
- Travel
- Seeing new places, and how differently the same things can work somewhere else.
- Software experiments
- AI, automation, and whatever I’m curious about that week. Most experiments stay small. A few turn into products.
- Fantasy football
- Where my program management skills meet weekly humbling.
- Pickleball
- Golf’s faster, louder, and more forgiving cousin.
